An ageing dealership roof stripped and re-sheeted, with new fascias and canopy metalwork, while the showroom stayed open.
What we found
An older dealership with a cement sheet roof at the end of its life, a tired fascia line and a gable canopy over the showroom glazing that had started to let go at its junctions.
The showroom below is full of new cars and customers, which sets the rules: nothing opens up unless it can be closed again the same day, and nothing gets dropped.
The work
Roof coverings replaced in phases, with new fascias, soffits and flashings run around the perimeter in a matched grey. The gable canopy over the showroom entrance was reclad and re-flashed, keeping the distinctive profile the brand format asks for.
Access was from powered platforms across the customer car park, repositioned daily so that the dealership never lost its frontage.
Result
A building that reads as new from the forecourt with none of the disruption of a rebuild, and a roof with another few decades in it.
