Overview

The building stays
open. That is the
hard part.

Refurbishment is not new build with an older roof. There is stock underneath, or staff, or a railway. The roof you open in the morning has to be watertight by the time you come down, whatever the forecast says, and the survey has to tell you what is under the covering before you commit to a price.

So we survey first — always. We look at the deck, the purlins, the fixings and the gutters, we tell you what we found, and we phase the work into bays that can be opened and closed inside a shift. Where the existing roof can stay, overroofing avoids the strip entirely and keeps the building dry throughout.

Strip and re-sheet

The old covering comes off and a new insulated system goes on, bay by bay, sheeted up between shifts.

Overroofing

A new roof built over the old one on a spacer system. No strip, no exposure, and the building never opens up.

Overcladding

The same idea on the walls — new outer skin over the existing, with the thermal upgrade built in.

Cut-edge and gutter works

Targeted repair where the roof has life left in it: cut-edge corrosion treatment, gutter lining, sheet replacement.
